THEATRE
‘TAURA’ the stage play by The Art of Health was performed in Zimbabwe’s two largest theatres, Reps Theatre (Harare) and Bulawayo Theatre (Bulawayo) to packed houses. TAURA which translates to ‘Speak out’ is the message that was delivered by the young people, who felt that young people in Zimbabwe needed a platform where they could express their health needs and concerns and in turn be heard by those that were in a position to effect change.
Packaged in drama, music and dance, the play takes a raw look at young people’s live experiences in their day-to-day lives and the impact it has on their health.
