'Troubled' showing a young troubled woman seated in a disturbed manner. She might be troubled because of experiencing a terrible situation involving STIs or HIV. Whatever is troubling her, just by taking a closer look at her, one can safely conclude that she is in real pain. What if she was sexually abused leading to her suffering a stigma as well as HIV or STIs? Every colour in the painting represent a certain emotion: the blues, reds, greens, yellows, blacks and whites of her life. The colour blue means
real depression caused by certain situation in this case the HIV which is now living in her blood. She is seated on somewhat red blanket, an indication of extreme pain. The colours yellow, green and white are a portrayal of HOPE. Although this young troubled woman is in deep pain, there's still hope behind her, but she has to let go of the pain and look back in order to realize that there's still some light to rekindle her ambitions, self-esteem as well as her dying hopes. The moon hasn't set behind the blue mountains yet, but she needs to take just a little glimpse at it. There's still hope for a better life despite the current unpleasant situation. She needs to raise her head up and see possibilities that exist
around her i.e. The Art Of Health programs, WHO, PLAN International organisations , the Government initiatives and Women Empowerment programs that will help realize her potentials. These Gvt and NGO entities are portrayed by the green colour, highlighting the greener pastures that need to be explored.
