 ln this piece l have created how, and what women go through during menstruation. The hands symbolise how a man does not understand the pain that we go through with explains the phrase "No Knowledge". Some men want their desires to be fulfilled, they must understand that we can't give them that kind of desire when we are in pain which explains the phrase "Need Pleasure" The hands are controlling the woman as well and l showed it by painting ropes around the woman, they are pulling her back and preventing her from relieving herself from the pain. In order to relieve herself she needs the basics like pads, tampons, pills, and the Lord our God to help us be free, which explains why she's reaching out to them. On the lower belly of the woman l drew a crown made of thones which was worn by Jesus, it symbolises how period cramps are so painful and agonizing it's like thones are living inside your stomach and you cant reach out to remove them. This is a reminder that a woman's period is a reminder of her body's ability to create and nurture life
